“Meow-some Birthday Bash: Meet the Feline Phenomenon Set to Break World Record as the Oldest Living Cat at 32”

موقع أيام نيوز

At present, the honor of being the oldest living cat is held by Flossie, who is 26 years old. However, this could be soon replaced by Rosie, who is 32 years old and well on her way to becoming the new title-holder. Rosie’s owner, Lila Brissett, is thrilled at the possibility of her beloved pet breaking the record and becoming the world’s oldest living cat.

Have you heard about Flossie? We wrote about her a while back – she’s a 26-year-old cat who made it into the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s oldest cat. But now, it seems like there’s a new cat in town! Meet Rosie, a 32-year-old feline who is about to become the oldest cat in the UK. Her owner, Lila Brissett, is planning on celebrating Rosie’s extraordinary birthday by treating her to a delicious salmon cake. It just goes to show that age is just a number, and cats can live long, happy lives with the right care and attention.

According to Lila, she has already consumed half of the cake and believes that

by lunchtime, there won’t be any left. Lila, who blew out the candles herself, revealed in an interview with the Norwich Evening News that she is 140 years old in human age. Originally from Norfolk, England, Lila mentioned that she owned several cats in her lifetime since she couldn’t have children. To her surprise, Rosie, her tortoiseshell cat, broke all records in terms of longevity! The cat has been with her since it was a kitten and has never left her side. Lila attributes Rosie’s long life to the love and care she provides and admits that she’s completely enamored with the feline.

On June 1, 1991, Rosie was born and according to reports, she has only visited the vet twice in her lifetime due to her strong health. Her owner affectionately describes her as adorable and states that Rosie loves to sleep and eat nowadays. Although their love for animals is unwavering, they do not plan on getting more pets in the future due to their difficulty with walking long distances. Rosie is six years younger than Creme Puff, who holds the record for the world’s oldest cat at 38 years old. Creme Puff was born in 1967 in Texas, United States and lived until 2005. Rosie and Lila are currently waiting for official confirmation from Guinness Book of World Records to make history and potentially break Creme Puff’s record
