The kitten remained motionless by the university until it was discovered, and eventually, it made a choice – it yearned for affection.
“He has damage to the seventh lumbar spine and one sacral vertebra. This does not significantly limit his movements, and doctors do not undertake to correct this surgically. We were advised to just make sure he doesn’t get too active.”
Veterinarians doubted whether Wesley would be able to use the litter box on his own, but the mustachioed tabby was determined.

Once Wesley’s paws were full of strength, he stood up and began to explore his surroundings, and quickly found a litter box.
Without wasting time, he learned to use it, despite all the difficulties.

The kitten’s appetite increased and he began to gain weight. Wesley purred loudly when petted and soon became a complete sissy.
The amazing transformation took less than a week – the kitten was already constantly purring and looking for the affection of his foster Mom.

“Wesley meows when I stop petting him. He just wants love and affection. You understand that I pet him a lot,” says Ginny.
He eats well and is becoming more confident with people day by day. “One of the people who found him is making inquiries about his adoption!”

Wesley rolls over to get his tummy rubbed and cuddles up to Ginny every time she comes into the room. He is happy to have a warm nest, good food and cuddles that are so available.
