The Doctors Orders for Cricket’s Nubs
What would need to be done for Cricket’s legs? At first, the rescuer thought he might need tiny shoes to help cushion his pegs from damage. But after a trip to an orthopedic surgeon, the doctor’s orders were better than expected.

“We saw an orthopedic surgeon for a consultation, and the doctor informed us that Cricket looks great and is adapting so well! He doesn’t need any treatment or intervention at this time. He recommended that Cricket use his back nubs as much as possible, preferably on softer surfaces, because it’s important that he builds calluses. Hopefully, he will be able to live out the rest of his life as is

Tackling every obstacle that came his way, Cricket learned to use soft, cushioned stairs. He adapted so fast and even learned to climb back up in no time.
